Putting Adhesive Bandages To Use
First, clean the wound with soap and water, making sure that there’s no foreign material in the wound. Then, apply antibacterial ointment to the wound. After antibiotic ointment is applied, open up the package, peel off the backing from the adhesive side of the bandage, and place the padded area over the wound.

If more wound coverage is required, you can use multiple bandages to achieve better wound coverage. They are constructed of breathable, ventilated plastic to allow the skin to breathe while the long-lasting adhesive holds the bandage in place and conforms to the skin of the wearer. The wearer can go about their daily activities without the concern that the bandage will come off and expose the wound. The bandage’s absorbent pad keeps fluids away from the wound site but won’t stick to the wound, making removal easy and reducing irritation of sensitive skin.

The quick access dispenser boxes allow for convenient handling when you need a bandage. These bandages can even be used to cover a post-injection site, or used on an area where blood has been drawn.

It’s important that wounds, even minor ones, be covered to allow them to heal quickly and to reduce the risk of infection. Even something as small as a popped blister could lead to something worse if it isn’t properly attended to with antibacterial medication and a bandage. Drug-resistant infections are becoming more common, and a small action like applying a sheer plastic bandage to a cut can prevent larger problems down the road. Make sure you’re practicing good health care habits by covering up all wounds, no matter how small.
