Established in 1945, the Broadview Heights Fire Departments is currently under the leadership of Chief Jeff Hajek. The number one priority of the department is the preservation of human life. They also seek to protect property, assist those who cannot help themselves and provide the safest possible living environment for the people of Broadview Heights.

New to the Braun ambulance family, Broadview Heights Fire Department sought to customize their 2010 Braun Chief XL. The ability to design the ambulance module to meet their exact specifications was a primary factor in choosing to go with an emergency vehicle from Braun over other ambulance manufacturers. The custom-designed patient compartment allows the paramedic to stay seated while treating their patient. This is accomplished by having compartments on each side of the medic for them to easily access emergency medical equipment and supplies within arm’s reach.

The Braun Chief XL ambulance has one of the highest usable payloads in the industry. Additionally, it is the leading ambulance sold. Handcrafted with Braun’s SolidBody Construction, the ambulance model provides increased safety for the patient and crew. This unique construction process adds strength to the module while reducing weight, offering a variety of benefits.
