The SAM XT PW Tourniquet shares the same innovative design as the SAM XT MW, with the only exception being the high-strength, Hylon-Polymer Windlass rod. Able to maintain a limb occlusion pressure of 500mmHg, the SAM XT Polymer Windlass system can both meet and exceed the published literature value required to maintain limb occlusion of 300mmHg.
