James Gierlach is our secondary Ambulance Service Technician. James joined the Penn Care team in July 2026. Following in his father’s footsteps, James learned from one of the best—our Mobile Service Technician, Jim Gierlach. Around the office, we call him “Junior.”
James works alongside our service department performing ambulance maintenance, repairs, and warranty work. Prior to joining Penn Care, he worked as an ambulance fleet mechanic, giving him valuable hands-on experience servicing emergency vehicles. He is a valuable addition to the Penn Care team as he helps keep our customers’ ambulances operating safely and reliably.
James resides in New Castle, PA. In his free time, he enjoys riding quads, working on his car project, and taking his motorcycle out for a ride.
