Every once in a while, we get the exciting opportunity to announce a new ambulance model to our customers. Having partnered with Braun Industries for 23 years, the launch of the new Braun Freedom ambulance is very special to us. Most importantly, we are proud to mention that this ambulance is the direct result of feedback from fire-based emergency medical services personnel. You asked for it… Braun delivered!
The new Braun Freedom ambulance is built on the popular Spartan Metro Star Chassis. It has a larger module that can carry more firefighting and rescue equipment, which is perfect for the squad that provides both fire and EMS services to their community. The Braun Freedom offers superior storage space in the cab as well.
What’s interesting to note about this emergency vehicle is that it is more durable than most ambulance models. Through the use of the Spartan Metro Star Chassis, a platform that the majority of our fire-based EMS customers are familiar with, organizations will be able to extend the life of their ambulance by two to five years. This means a significant amount of savings over time, which frees up funding for other emergency equipment needs.
Fire-based emergency medical services (EMS)Â are essential to public safety. They provide prehospital emergency 911 medical response and are capable of securing a scene, containing the danger, triaging, extricating, treating, decontaminating, and transporting injured patients to a medical facility. Playing so many vital roles within the emergency response system, it’s imperative that fire-based EMS organizations have the equipment that they need to do their jobs effectively. That’s why we’re proud to announce the new Braun Freedom ambulance.
