The Mopec MERC System: How It Works

The patented Mopec MERC System® is a liquid-based cooling system, chilling the liquid down to an operator set temperature. It is the only portable morgue system available that does not use cold air to provide cooling for human remains. Instead, the Mopec MERC System uses patented liquid cooling technology and specially designed cooling pads.

The liquid is then transferred through a system manifold and out to the cooling pad. The liquid removes the heat from the body and returns the heated fluid to the system to be re-chilled and then is continually recirculate.
