Penn Care recently delivered two 2018 Braun Express Type III ambulances with customer supplied Chevy G3500 chassis to EmergyCare in Erie, PA. The Braun Express units were customized 150” modules; the units were designed with maximum crew and patient safety in mind. The patient compartment was designed to the precise needs of EmergyCare with the module having additional interior storage cabinets. The units were outfitted with Whelen LED lighting, Valor Captains chair with a 4-point harness systems and a customer supplied Stryker Power Load. Also, the units feature Braun’s EZ- Glide side entry door, MasterTech electrical system and Vista screens. The curbside wall was designed for the attendant to remain in a seated position during patient treatment while still reaching all critical components to operate the ambulance.
