As the year comes to a close, it’s a good time to look back at some of the major events and accomplishments of the past twelve months. 2010 was a banner year for Penn Care. During the year, we hired four new employees and also expanded internationally with the completion of sales to organizations in Pakistan, Haiti and Saudi Arabia. In addition, the Ambulance and Software divisions both saw record-breaking sales numbers. With our continued success, it is important that we take the time to recognize the contributions of our dedicated staff who make it all possible. With that being said, it is our pleasure to introduce Jamie Ciccone as the Penn Care Salesperson of the Year and Sherri Walter as the Penn Care Employee of the Year.
Jamie Ciccone (pictured right) has been with Penn Care for two years, serving as a sales representative for the EMS Supply and Software Divisions in Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia and Eastern Pennsylvania. Jamie comes to us with over eight years of sales and marketing experience and has been instrumental in building relationships with customers and bringing on new accounts. In 2010, Jamie signed up over 105 new services for emsCharts, including the 30 EMS agencies within the Bradford Susquehanna EMS Council in Pennsylvania, and the Saudi Red Crescent Ambulance Authority (the only ambulance service in Saudi Arabia). She has also helped to bring on other new customers such as Seals Ambulance Service in Indianapolis, Indiana and has been a real asset to our sales force.
Sherri Walter (pictured left) is the administrator for the Ambulance Division and has also been with Penn Care for two years. Sherri has been working in administrative and office management positions for over 25 years. At Penn Care, she is the “go to” person for everything ambulance, handling billing, parts and service, warranty issues, title work, sales support and customer service. Chances are, if an ambulance came from Penn Care, Sherri had something to do with it! In her position, Sherri has been charged with reviewing and improving the processes for billing, parts ordering, service dispatch and warranty procedures. Thanks to her efforts, the Ambulance Division at Penn Care had its best year ever. Congratulations to Jamie and Sherri!
At Penn Care, we take pride in everything that we do because we know that we are in the business of supporting those who save lives. We would like to thank all of our employees for their hard work and dedication and are looking forward to working together to achieve even greater success in 2011 and beyond.
Have you had the chance to meet with Jamie or Sherri? Post a comment on our blog and congratulate them on their awards.
