Product Details

QuikClot EMS Gauze puts the power of military hemostatic bandages into the hands of first responders. These small bandages are capable of completely stopping traumatic bleeding and keep patients alive as they are prepped for transportation. This allows first responders and EMS to treat severe wounds and temporarily stop the bleeding long enough to significantly improve patient care. This bandage has so many benefits that it cannot be ignored and should be adopted by your first responders.

QuikClot EMS Gauze Product Features:

• White, nonwoven and soft gauze that is easy to use in any situation

• Kaolin naturally increases clotting to stop bleeding

• Used by the military and shown to be effective

• Comes in either gauze rolls and large pads

• Easy-open packaging to ensure you can quickly access the bandage

Size

QuikClot Gauze comes in two convenient sizes so that you can effectively treat a range of bleeding emergencies. The most common size is a large gauze roll that is 3”x4’, giving you more than enough for nearly any emergency. You can completely wrap a whole area and stop bleeding in its tracks.
There are also 4”x4” QuikClot gauze pads in packs of three. This gives you small pads that you can easily use in different areas, or just for effectively treating smaller bleeding emergencies without compromising quality or using a whole roll of hemostatic gauze. In either case, both are easy to use and will immediately bond to stop blood.

Kaolin

This is what separates QuikClot from a standard gauze roll. Kaolin is a special inorganic mineral that has been shown to have some very powerful medical benefits. It naturally accelerates the body’s clotting so that bleeding is rapidly stopped within minutes. Not only that, but there’s no exothermic reactions, which just improves patient care. No human or animal proteins have been used with this gauze.
Best of all, there are no known side effects from using kaolin bandages. You can treat patients with confidence without worrying about an allergy or reaction from this product. Just focus on saving their life and stopping that traumatic bleeding.

Military Adoption

The military is known for inventing and using the most revolutionary medical technology. Not only is their technology proven to work under the harshest of environments, but they work well under stress without any hiccups in performance. Like many of the best medical supplies and items, QuikClot gauze started as a medical product. The military needed a product that could stop significant bleeding quickly and effectively without compromising safety. Since its adoption in 2008, QuickClot kaolin-based products have saved hundreds if not thousands of lives on the battlefield. There’s nothing better than the seal of approval from the military when it comes to effectiveness, so this should quickly calm any worries you have about this product not living up to its promises.

Packaging

Any experienced medical professional knows that packaging is just as important as the medical supplies inside. A bad package can either easily break and expose products, which means they are no longer sanitary, or they are very thick and difficult to open. That may not sound like a big deal, but when seconds matter and you need everything to work as expected, you need the packaging to work as well as the bandage. QuikClot gauze uses an effective package that is very easy to rip open and reach the bandage inside. It doesn’t matter how dire the emergency is, you’ll be able to get the hemostatic bandage quickly so that you can apply it and stop the bleeding.

Soft and Nonwoven

While the main thing most people think about with QuikClot is the kaolin ingredient, and it’s easy to see why, you should be happy to know that the bandage itself has been made to be as medical
proficient as possible. The bandage is soft so that it’s easy to work with and can be easily wrapped around hands, arms, legs, feet and anything else. The bandage material is nonwoven, which is essential for bleeding treatment. Woven bandages can deposit fibers into the wound, which can lead to infection while making everything harder for medical professionals. Nonwoven bandages are ideal for any bleeding event.

If you want a hemostatic bandage that has been tested on the battlefield and proven to work in every situation, then QuikClot gauze is the right product for you. This works in situations from mild to severe and is very easy to use. This is perfect for elevating patient care and improving survival from significant bleeding.
