Thank you for registering for our 30th Anniversary Ambulance Sweepstakes. Penn Care is a company of enduring strength; we have been privileged to play a role in helping Public Safety Departments for the last 30 years. As the science of EMS has grown, we’ve grown along with it, and strive every day to improve and differentiate ourselves.

Consolidation and venture capitalism have removed many owners with whom you previously had a personal relationship. As our competitors devour more EMS supply companies, choices become fewer for the customers. It’s difficult to know who owns the company with which you are doing business.

How Did We Make It To 30 Years?
We are nimble! This means we can respond much more quickly to changes, opportunities, and/or problems. For instance, the decision to offer this promotion was easily made. A large corporation with their legal department, the board of directors and distribution channels may have over-discussed, challenged or raised a multitude of concerns going back and forth with no result. Not at Penn Care – no red tape here!  We use our flexibility to do remarkable things and this decision was made in 5 minutes!

In addition, we credit our strength and endurance to our consistent approach to managing our business, as well as the character of our people. We change and adapt as quickly as your responsibilities to your communities change. However, what has not changed is the people of Penn Care and our commitment to you. The two people who founded this business 30 years ago are the same dedicated individuals, which work every day striving to meet or exceed your specific needs in an excellent manner.

    2. Finalist must be represented at the event on December 2, 2017 at 5:00pm in Warren, OH to participate
    3. The Sweepstakes is open to all EMS Departments public and private, the sweepstakes is not open to individuals
    4. The Participant from the Department will be selected by the Executive Officer of the Department (Chief, Director, Administrator, CEO, etc.)
    5. The Prize is a $250,000 credit via donation at Penn Care Inc. to the Department exact method of donation to be determined by Penn Care Inc. and winning Department at the time of award (there is only one $250,000 to be awarded.)
    6. Five Departments (a Department may not be chosen twice) will be selected from entries at random to participate in the Grand Prize Roll activities where they will have the opportunity to win a $250,000 credit with Penn Care Inc., in which to build a new Ambulance(s).  (There is only one $250,000 prize available)
    7. Once a Department is chosen at random for one of the five Grand Prize spots that department is not eligible for a second spot at the Grand Prize event.
    8. All Departments that are selected as Finalists will receive a $1,000 credit at Penn Care Inc.
    9. In order to register departments must first visit penncare.net/ambulancepromotion once registered departments will receive one entry.  A  Department can only be registered online once, duplicate entries online will be removed. One additional entry for every five hundred dollars ($500) spent with Penn Care Inc. from January 1, 2017-October 31, 2017.  Finalists will be selected the week of November 6th via random drawing.
    10. Each Finalist designated Participant will have one (1) opportunity to roll three (3) six-sided dice if all three (3) dice land with the Penn Care Logo or if the Penn Care Logo is not present on the dice then the numeral “1” face up (facing the ceiling) that finalist will be a “winner”.  If more than one Department is a “winner” during the first round of rolls those winners will then go to a roll-off rolling all (3) six-sided dice again with the highest total of all three dice being declared the ultimate “winner” and receiving the prize.
    11. The three (3) dice used in the roll must be enclosed in a nontransparent container.  Each contestant must thoroughly shake the dice before rolling.
    12. The entire process of each Contestant’s roll must be videotaped in its entirety with no interruptions.
    13. Penn Care Inc. will provide one (1) hotel room per Finalists’ Department. Additionally, Penn Care Inc. will pay for the Finalist’s dinner and drinks at the mandatory event on December 2nd, 2017.  Any and all cost associated with travel will be the responsibility of Department and/or Finalist.
    14. Finalists and Departments agree to have general information related to the Department and contest used by Penn Care Inc. for promotional material as decided by Penn Care Inc.
    15. Odds of winning are subject to the number of entries.
    16. The winning Department is responsible for declining the prize if the nature or value of the prize exceeds any rules imposed on the winner, such as his/her company rules or policies, also any Federal, State or Local Laws that the winner must comply.
    17. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash, the winner is responsible for all taxes and local requirements if applicable.
    18. Employees, contractors, suppliers, technology partners and channel partners of Penn Care Inc. are not eligible to win.
    19. All decisions made by Penn Care Inc. are final.
    20. Penn Care Inc. reserves all rights in the awarding of the prize.
    21. Any activity that voids the insurance policy provided by Tokyo Marine HHC also voids the contest and ability to win any and all prizes.
    22. Penn Care Inc. is not responsible for malfunction that may result in loss of entry or entries that are submitted incomplete or incorrectly and reserves the right to reject any entry for any reason.
    23. Penn Care Inc. reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason.

    3 Finalist – The five Departments selected to take place in the Grand Prize Roll

    4 Participant – Representative of the Department assigned by the Executive Officer that will attend the Grand Prize Roll.  He/She must be 21 years or older.

    5 Prize – A $250,000 donation via a credit at Penn Care Inc. to use towards the purchase of a new ambulance(s) any additional costs associated with the purchase over and above $250,000 will be the responsibility of the Department

    6 Grand Prize Roll – The physical act of rolling three (3) six-sided dice 

    Can I Register Over the Phone?

    No phone calls to register will be accepted.  The EMS Department must complete the online entry form prior to midnight on October 31, 2017 to be considered registered.

    Is there a Guaranteed Winner?

    We cannot guarantee of a winner of the $250,000 Grand Prize as each Finalist will have one (1) opportunity to roll three (3) six-sided dice if all three (3) dice land with the Penn Care Logo or if the Penn Care Logo is not present on the dice then the numeral “1” face up (facing the ceiling) that finalist will be a “winner”.  If more than one Department is a “winner” during the first round of rolls those winners will then go to a roll-off rolling all (3) six-sided dice again with the highest total of all three dice being declared the ultimate “winner” and receiving the prize of $250,000 credit towards a Braun or Medix ambulance(s).  All Departments that are selected as Finalists will receive a $1,000 credit at Penn Care Inc. and also need to be present at the event on December 2nd to receive the credit.  

    How Does My EMS Department Win?

    The licensed EMS Department must have a functional ambulance during the year of 2017 either publicly or privately held.  In order to register, the EMS Department must complete the online entry form- penncare.net/ambulancepromotion. Once registered, the EMS Department will receive one entry and one additional entry for every five hundred dollars ($500) spent with Penn Care Inc. from January 1, 2017-October 31, 2017.  

    What If I Don't Currently Have an Ambulance?

    Unfortunately, this Sweepstakes is only open to a service and/or organization that is actively providing licensed EMS service with a functional ambulance during the year of 2017 either publicly or privately held. 

    Can I Win?

    The Sweepstakes is open to all EMS Departments public and private, the sweepstakes is not open to individuals.
