long lived predecessors, including sealed lead acid
battery, oil-less diaphragm pump, two stage vented regulator,
disposable fluid paths, and durable construction. But,
a lot has been added to this revolutionary suction
pump!
Battery
care has been made automatic. (Eventually, even the
best cared for battery loses capacity. Over-depletion is the
biggest enemy a sealed lead acid battery has; and S-SCORT
"TEN" has a unique system that protects against
over-depletion in two ways. First, the battery automatically
charges every time the unit is stored in its optional charging/retention
shelf. So, whenever the unit is stored, it is on its
way to a full charge. Second, sophisticated circuitry
disconnects the battery before depletion to avoid deep
discharge.
S-SCORT
"TEN" is sturdy and easy to clean. The water
resistant exterior is expressly suited for the pre-hospital
health care environment. The case resists stains and
sheds fluids so effectively that it can be cleaned with
a hose and scrub brush. It is absolutely "Fireman-proof" tough.
The
custom designed charging/retention shelf holds the unit
against a force of 25G. Indicator lights tell you when
the pump is running, when the unit is on charge, when
the battery is low, and when the battery is fully charged
to available capacity. A tubing retention strap holds
tubing and suction tip. All units come with a shoulder
strap.
