MODS Features

Mass Oxygen Distribution System (MODS)

  • This portable patient medical oxygen system provides over 64,000 gaseous liters of oxygen (stored as only 75-liters of liquid oxygen (LOX) to multiple patients
  • The oxygen capacity of just one MODS is equivalent to 12 large high-pressure H cylinders
  • Liquid oxygen costs less than gaseous oxygen and uses ALL of the oxygen volume (gaseous oxygen cylinders only utilize 80% of their volume)
  • Interfaces with 100-Foot Hose Reel Assembly and Patient Distribution Kit for quick setup and delivery to patients
  • Mobile and space-conscious design
  • Improved safety due to lower system pressurization
  • Designed for permanent trailer or truck mounting (simple refill onboard) or can be wheel mounted for easy mobility
  • NO gaseous tank rental costs or inventories to manage or insure
  • NO external power required for operation
  • Oxygen Flow: Up to 450 LPM
  • Outlet Temperature: +10 / -20 degrees of ambient
  • Outlet Pressure: 200 PSIG
  • Dimensions: Height - 54 Inches, Width - 30 Inches, Length - 60 Inches
  • Weight: 500 lbs. (full)

Patient Distribution Kit (PDK)

  • The PDK quickly and easily connects to the MODS to supply oxygen to up to ten patients
  • Ten 20 foot long hose assemblies (included) enable any combination of patient setups, while allowing easy maneuverability and placement of additional equipment
  • Ten flow control valves (each adjustable from 0 to 15 LPM using 12 different flow settings) allows individual flow control at the patient location
  • Integrated storage compartment for oxygen supply hose, cannulas and masks
  • Supply and outlet pressure gauges for quick system performance monitoring
  • Includes a 20 foot long inlet hose assembly
  • Carrying handles for easy maneuverability
  • Inlet Conditions: 200 PSIG (400 PSIG max)
  • Outlet Pressure: 50 PSIG
  • Dimensions: Height - 15 Inches, Width - 20 Inches, Length - 23 Inches
  • Weight: 60 lbs.

Hose Assembly with Reel

  • 100 foot long flexible hose on reel with 10 foot long flexible inlet hose
  • Equipped with an oxygen coupling 3-way splitter to easily connect to three Patient Distribution Kits
  • Quick-connect coupling on inlet hose
  • Cleaned and assembled for medical oxygen service use
  • Spring-retractable reel for smooth and easy hose rewind
  • Four .50" diameter mounting holes
  • Custom port connections available upon request
  • 3/8" ID hoses

  • Weight: 82 lbs.

Nurse Tank

  • Designed for easy refilling of the MODS unit
  • Safely holds and transports 50 gallons of Liquid Oxygen (LOX)
  • Conveniently brings LOX to the field to provide uninterrupted oxygen supply to patients
  • Large storage capacity allows refilling of the MODS at least two additional times
  • Mounted on sturdy DOT approved trailer for easy transport
  • Can be filled from a nationwide network of commercial LOX distribution centers
  • 10 foot long LOX filler hose and valve included
  • Operating Pressure: 30 PSIG (min), 55 PSIG (max)
